I was born in 1978 at Tift Regional Hospital in Tifton, Georgia, and I have lived in South Georgia all of my life. My father was a Methodist minister, and his appointment to Rochelle United Methodist Church brought me to Rochelle in 1992 at the age of fourteen. I met Dawn in the 9th Grade at WCHS and we dated throughout high school and college. Dawn is truly a blessing in my life, and I am forever grateful that she agreed to marry me! We have been married for twenty years and have six wonderful children: Dawson, Eli and Owen, Mason, and Emma and Ryley. I believe that God has called me into His ministry to be a servant leader in His church. I began to sense His call into the ministry in 2012. The burden on my heart focused on helping people to understand their relationship with the Lord…the need to help individuals know God and understand His love, mercy, and grace. This burden became stronger as I sought to deepen my own relationship with Him. Currently, I am attending Luther Rice College & Seminary, pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. I was ordained as a minister in December of 2017 and serve as the youth pastor at First Baptist Church of Rochelle. I love the Lord and His church! I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in Wilcox County. I am excited about what God is doing, what He is going to do, and the fact that we get to be a part of His kingdom’s work!
