I was born in Maryville, Tennessee. On June 18, 1988, I married the love of my life, Christy. God blessed us with 2 children, Lindsey and Noah. I attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and graduated in 1993 with a Master’s in Divinity degree. I have pastored churches in Florida and Tennessee. For an 8 year stint, God called me to be an active duty chaplain in the military. I served in the Army for 3 years and the Air Force for 5 years. During that time, I spent a year deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was called to First Baptist Church of Rochelle in the fall of 2018 and feel blessed to call Rochelle home.

Favorite Scripture: Matthew 6:33 “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you.”

I was born and raised in Southwestern Indiana until March 2013 when my husband and I moved to Rochelle, GA. We have been married 32 years. We had one daughter and we have two grandchildren. We are currently raising our grandson who is the light of our lives. I though I was save at the age of 10 but never really lived for the Lord until I met my husband and starting going to church with him. After sitting under the preaching and teaching of great men and women of God I got saved. I haven't stopped serving and drawing closer to God since. I have served in various positions in church from nursery, teacher, church clerk, financial secretary, Awana teacher, and currently as Church Secretary at First Baptist Church of Rochelle.

Favorite Scripture: Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

I was born and raised in Fitzgerald, Georgia where I was blessed to be part of a very active church and youth group. The tutelage and spiritual leadership of the Godly men and women of this church touched my life and helped mold me into the person I am today. I accepted Christ as my personal Savior at the age of 15 while attending a spiritual renewal camp. This lit a fire in my life that has constantly pushed me to be a better person and give back to my community. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a business degree in 2006 and have been working in the peanut industry since 2008. In June of 2010, Becky and I were married and have been blessed with two great boys; Austin and Parker. We joined First Baptist Church in 2022 and accepted the Lord’s call to lead our youth in 2023.

Favorite Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
